Terms of use
Effective October 11, 2026
These terms apply to the myEnku website (myenku.com) and the myEnku web app (myenku.app). myEnku is operated by Tom Carrasco, an individual (sole proprietor) (“we”, “us”). By using myEnku you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.
What myEnku is
myEnku offers tools to plan, track and reflect on a personal goal over a 30-day to 10-week experiment (10 weeks by default). It is free to use, needs no account, and stores your data only on your device. Features may change, and we may pause or stop offering myEnku at any time.
Not advice
myEnku is a self-reflection and tracking tool. It does not provide medical, psychological, financial, legal or other professional advice. You decide which goals and practices to pursue, and you are responsible for those decisions. Please consult a qualified professional where appropriate. See the disclaimer.
Your data and backups
What you enter is yours. Because it is stored only in your browser, you are responsible for keeping backups. We can’t see, restore or recover your data.
Acceptable use
Please don’t misuse myEnku: for example, don’t try to disrupt or overload the service, break its security, or use it to break the law.
Our content
The myEnku name, the Enku character and artwork, and the site and app content (including the adapted teachings and Enku’s messages) belong to us. You may use them to run your own experiment and share your own results. Please don’t copy or republish them as your own product.
Third-party names and links
Teachers, authors and works are named for reference only. They are not affiliated with myEnku and do not endorse it. Teachings in myEnku are adapted paraphrases, not quotations. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we aren’t responsible for their content or policies.
No warranty
myEnku is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don’t promise that it will be error-free, always available, or that it will help you reach a goal.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of myEnku. Because myEnku is free, our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to US $50. Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to these terms or to myEnku will be brought in the state and federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas, and you and we consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll change the effective date above. Continuing to use myEnku after a change means you accept the updated terms.
